Mr. Suttipong Singhyakaew, the DDP student of MABEEL from Chiang Mai University, was awarded "The Best Oral Presentation Award" from "The 2nd IWA Malaysia Young Water Professionals Conference 2015".

Prof. CY Chang has been selected in the project of "100 Talents Program of Hubei Province" as a global expert in environmental protection.

Prof. CY Chang was invited as the plenary speaker of International Conference on Pollution and Treatment Technology.

Prof. CY Chang was appointed as "Chutian Scholar" of Hubei Province as well as specially-engaged Chair Professor at WUST in 2011.

MABEEL won the first and second prizes of best poster paper at IWA MTC 2009 Conference held in Beijing (1-3/09/2009).

MABEEL has received the best paper award from Conference on Sustainable Development for Regions and Environmental Resources held in Taiwan (23/10/2009).

The breakthrough for the Membrane Bioreactor came in 1989 with the idea of Professor Kazuo Yamamoto (Japan) to submerge the membranes in the bioreactor. Until then, MBRs were designed with the separation device located external to the reactor and relied on high TMP to maintain filtration... (more)
